About:
Mr. Vernon Thomson has spent nearly 20 years teaching in middle & high schools all around El Dorado & Sacramento counties. He is fantastic at finding a connection with different types of students, no matter the age.
His teaching specialty is relating disparate subjects together so that students see learning as a unified process broken into different subjects for the purpose of specialized instruction.
He holds a BA degree from Evergreen State College, and also spent over a decade coaching saber fencing. In his spare time, he expresses creativity through his dress, articulating menswear through a dapper appearance and encouraging other men to "try harder." His individuality shines through in both professional demeanor and candor.
Rates:
Zoom sessions are $50/ hour, 2 hour max per session.
In-home using Covid-19 safety precautions such as mask wearing & near an open window, are $100/hr, 2 hour max per session.
Recommended series: 2-4 sessions per week until the student reaches a level sustainable for success, then 1 session per week for maintenence and follow-up.
Payment options: Venmo, Google Pay, Cash App. 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
Policies:
24 cancelation policy: If you need to cancel and cannot give 24 hrs notice or do not show for the appointment, the deposit is will be non-refundable. If you do give 24 hrs or more notice, the deposit will be returned to you.
Lateness: Up to 10 minutes your time can be extended, beyond that it will not. You will still be responsible to pay for the full session booking.
